3M RADIAL BRISTLE DISC FOR POLISHING, CLEANING, FINISHING, & DEBURRING
The 3M Scotch-BriteTM Radial Bristle Discs have very flexible bristles for deburring, cleaning, finishing, and polishing detailed parts or tiny areas. Recently developed by 3M Radial Bristle discs are excellent substitution for brushes, buffs or felt discs and are used in variety of applications for polishing, deburring, cleaning and finishing. With their highly flexible and conformable bristles, these 3M discs can be used for a wide variety of cleaning and finishing needs. They can get into small grooves and fine details with ease and can be used on most metals. These radial discs are already impregnated with various abrasives so, no compounds or chemicals are needed. 3M discs are mounted on screw-top mandrels singly or in multiples. Max speed is 30000 rpm.
Grades:
- 80 grit - Coarse - Yellow - Great for Fire scale removal
- 220 grit - Medium - Red - Excellent for Light cleaning and oxide removal
- 400 grit - Fine - Blue - Ideal for Blending and semi-finishing
Instructions:
- Use a minimum of 3 discs ganged together at recommended speed of 15,000 RPM.
- Bristle Disc Maximum Operating Speed of 35,000 RPM
- Additional discs can be added for wider coverage.
- No compounds, rouges, or pastes required; Bristles contain abrasives.
All Packages come complete with at least 1 Mandrel for every selection.
Additional Discs and Mandrels are available upon request for an additional charge.
