BUSCH BURS FIGURE 1AU SUPER CARBIDE ROUND BALL BUR 0.3mm-3.1mm
Busch recognized as the world leader for premium quality burs, widely used in jewelry and dental industries. Busch burs are manufactured on high-tech machining centers using proven, state-of-the-art technology.

1 BUR PER SELECTION

Made of carbide for strength and durability. Teeth are precision machined and uniformly spaced so cutting is accurate and smooth.

Holes drilled with the twist drill 4205S are enlarged as required with larger round carbide burs 1AU. This creates a secure mount for the rondiste of the gem to be set. Cutting in difficult to reach corner areas and also a fine refinishing can be done with the small diameter of 0.4 mm.

State-of-the-art manufacturing techniques give these round burs a powerful blade geometry of the kind normally only found on carbide tools.

The special material properties of the carbide metal guarantee a remarkably long service life compared with the familiar round steel burs when producing jewelry made on gold. In addition to this, the new round bur permits cost-efficient working on widely used jewelry materials as platinum, titanium and even steel.
All carbide burs are known for hardness and resultant tool life, as well as their cutting capacity. Often used on materials which are very hard and difficult to cut (such as platinum, white gold, titanium, and steel). Busch® AU style carbide burs cut more aggressively than standard carbides. Edges are more precise (making setting easier) and they produce a brighter finish.

Recommended speed: 2,000 - 10,000 rpm

Maximum safe speed varies with bur size and is indicated on the box. Burs measure approximately 1-3/4" long with 3/32" shank and are marked with a gold band for easy identification.
