The H.15D Hammer handpiece has the same specs as the H.15, except includes a duplex spring for added flexibility. The H.15D Handpiece has hammering action for use at various speed (0-5,000 rpm is recommended) by jewelers for stone and diamonds setting and decorative work. Comes with an anvil point (HP10177).
Hammer has 1/32" stroke and its impact can be adjusted from light to heavy by turning the silver knurled adjusting ring.
Optional points available are: 6 different shaped Anvil Points (HP10171, HP10172, HP10173, HP10175, HP10176 and HP10179); Pave Point (R15PT), and Stylus with Carbide Tip (HP10212).
Duplex springs are NOT covered by warranty.
They are made of special steel, double wound tubular construction with a protective Duplex flexible spring cover. Replacement springs (HP76) are available and can be installed by the user. We recommend that only experienced users of flex shaft tools consider purchasing this style handpiece. For most users, the "straight" handpiece without duplex spring (H.15) is the preferable solution.
